Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta, GA

Published

Has anyone attended or is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta? If so, how is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am currently attending a technical college and have done all of my pre requisites except for the sciences. My gpa is 3.40. I just found out about this school and I am very interested... thanks.

That's good to know. Thanks so much for yr input. Have you taken Nursing Informatics??

My bad I didn't see the last post. I'm taking it as well online. Let me know how you like it. I'll be done with all prereq's after Nov session. So I'll start the yr off with clinicals. Yippee!!

It must def be true that NR-222 is better to take online. I know someone that took it on campus and she didn't pass. She's going to take it online the next go round. So the school doesn't round just like other programs. What is the score? Is it 75? Thx in advance.

Was lol told Nr 222 was even the easiest nursing class in the whole curriculum so lets imagine 224 and 302 together.

Hey there angel what's 302??

I didn't read all the comments so forgive me if I'm being repetitive.

I graduated from the online program in June 2012. I thought it was wonderful as I could fit it into my work schedule and still had time to spend with my children. Because my husband was deployed and I was working full-time, it wouldn't have been good for my children for me to attend classes on a campus. They spent enough time in daycare. I found the classes to be easy in general. I don't feel like I learned anything "new" getting my BSN but it was a great review from my ADN. The only class that was completely new to me was the research class. Having the classes in 8 weeks cycles was perfect as well and I love that I could be "full-time" with only two classes at a time because of the 8 week sessions.

S.G. Were the classes easy in general or easy because it was a bridge program and you were familiar with things already as a nurse? Thx for yr comments! Congrats on graduating too! :)
