I am looking into going to chamberlain at the arlington campus this fall...anyone else looking here or know much about the school? I just started looking into it and might go take a look around the school next week. I have heard mixed reviews about the school in general. Some love it some say the pass rates are low and it's a waste of money. Just trying to get a feel for what the school is really like. It's really the only nursing program close enough to me that is not a 4yr program. I LOVE the fact that they have a 3yr bachelors program which is what i had been looking for. Any advice/comments are appreciated!! Oh also any comments on the entrance exam?
Hi I actually just got accepted and I am super duper excited. however my credits didnt transfer so i have to take all gen ed classes:(. But I am still very happy to be at Chamberlain and finally start classes on the 24th of october. Now im just waiting to register for classes. Im especially estatic that i get to at least take nursing 101 1st semester. Well anyways hope to make new friends and enjoy my experience there:D

Congrats on getting accepted! Bummer about your credits not transferring. NONE of them did? I had a few that at first didn't, but I contacted my old professors for their syllabi and just submitted them to Chamberlain and those classes ended up being approved in the end. I still have to take a few gen eds though. Session A I am taking NR 101 and Chemistry.
I just got my clinical compliance packet in the mail, looks like I'll have to get a few immunizations, and I'm not CPR certified so I have to take a class I guess. Has anyone heard anything about orientation, or how to apply for scholarships?
I don't think so..but I feel there is a lot of conflicting information about dates. In the clinical compliance packet it says to bring your CPR card, your immunization records, and some other stuff (can't remember off the top of my head) to the clinical compliance orientation that will be held a few weeks into the new semester. But I had some questions about where and when to take cpr classes and about immunization records so I emailed the contact they listed for clinical compliance at Arlington and she wrote this back to me:
I copied Tracey Cain in on this email since she is a great source for information on available CPR classes on campus.* You can also try Americanheart.org. *There will be a search option to find a class in your area.*
*
At the compliance orientation, deadlines for compliance documentation will be discussed.* You will not be required to submit all paperwork before the orientation, but it would be a great idea to start gathering this information now so if there are any questions, we can resolve them beforehand.* Any documentation you have, you should send to 877-308-8663 and we will review and confirm if it has been accepted.*

The flu vaccine will be due by your compliance deadline which at this time has not been determined.* I will be sure to send you an email after the compliance orientation and early in your first term to give you a heads up on when your deadline will be.
I never received any info from the person she said she copied, and the reason I asked about the flu vaccine was because I got 2 emails in my chamberlain email that said it has to be done by October 14th. Sooo confused
