I am a student who is looking to get into a nursing program as soon as possible. My generals are complete and I am not able to get into my community college program until 2009 due to the long wait.
Chamberlain recently opened a college in Addison, IL and I would be able to get a BSN within 2 years...
If i were to wait to get into the College of DuPage (my community college), I would only have an RN by year 2011. I do not want to wait this long.
I came home from Chamberlain's open house tonight to do further research and was unable to find many reviews on the school. The only ones that I came across was their online ASN and ADN programs which failed.
Does anyone know how credible their on-campus BSN course is?

Good luck to you. I'll move your post to the IL forum, where you can hone in on the locals there.

Is Chamberlain approved by the state? I don't see it listed on the Illinois Dept. of Prof. Regulation site: http://www.idfpr.com/dpr/WHO/schools/NurseSchools.pdf
I looked under DeVry as well since Chamberlain is owned by DeVry..still no luck..
