Seven to six. Two hour break to pick up son. Consult with dad r/t son's Denver results. Phone calls. Paper work. Nuff said. Bye.

sleep-deprivation, anorexic fridge and nothing to eat, busy unit and worst...NF(no f***) for straight year..what a life!

(ER 7-3 shift GYN) Patient #1 brought in by Air Ambulance:

Incomplete AB - 4 residents, 2 med students, 1 attending = 7 pelvics. Pitocin, B/P 84/53 after 2 L Codes in U/S. In additon to 5 other patients.

Specializes in Inpatient Acute Rehab.

2 discharges, 5 admits, 2 alzheimer's, 3 cva's, crazy families, resident's do not answer their page, fire drill, rude security guards, not enough staff!

crisis orientation:

1st evaluation-accident with plant--3 cuts; LFA; "M" shaped cut also-unknown cause

2nd eval.-blitzed teen; demands 3 year detox getaway; sent home

2u PRBCs, hitting/attempted biting, restraints, 8 IV's running at min of 125hr, missed dayshift orders, Haldol with peridoxical rxns., Ativan, disraught family, nickled and dimed, IV infiltrate
