Hey guys, I didn't see a forum for this upcoming fall yet so I wanted to make one. I also had some questions and hopefully we can help each other out especially since times right now are tough. 

I applied with 73 points

This means you could have to wait all the way up to August 17th (start date of the program). Alternate means that what ever number you are you have to wait for that many applicants to drop out before they officially accept you. what number are you? I got number 32. So 32 people have to drop for me to be officially accepted or more alternates have to drop the ball in order for me to move up on the list.

Hi, I just discovered this forum but I got an email saying I'm alternate 7. What are the chances of getting in as an alternate, any ideas?

Also for those who are alternates, are we required to get the background and drug screen receipt by June 11th, or is it only for those who made it into the program? 

Ugh, I have so many questions LOL. I might call and I'll let other alternates know what they say ?

I am alternate #10. For background it says wait till you get a call for an open seat.

I have soooo many questions too!! Does anyone know what the deadline is for BLS? Where are you guys taking the course?

Hi,

I signed up for a BLS course online through the American Heart Association. It was easy ? I'll update you on the class once I take it next week. As for the deadline, I'm not sure if we're supposed to submit an e-card by July 30th. The deadlines were all over the place for me.
