Hey everyone!! I just wanted to start a thread for those applying to Chabot for Fall 2024! I'm super nervous. Does anyone else here also apply to Chabot College?

I forgot the exact wording, but I remember it was in bold red color and stated that if you decline the acceptance, the spot will go to the next applicant or something similar. I clicked 'no' for that question.

Sorry, I just wanted to make sure I did it right and kept my spot.

Was tricky scenario. Yes I did NO too. If not careful 😄. The question above it was about accepting was Yes. Then below it was decline and give it to someone else. Then it was a no.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I swear I checked three times before the submittion, but today I'm wondering if I did it right. 😂 Oh no, I'm getting paranoid!

I saw you on the other thread on LMC, if you get accepted into LMC, will you stay in Chabot?

I'm happy for you getting into your #1 choice! Yay!

Chabot is closer to me, but the traffic could be very bad on my way home. With traffic, the commute time to both schools is the same. Because LMC's tuition is lower, I'm leaning toward LMC. 😁

So lmc is cheaper than chabot programme. What are the figures if you know?

Not a big difference. I found on their websites that the estimated cost at LMC is $6,864, compared to $8,000-$8,500 at Chabot.

$2000 is a feasible amount. It's not worth the troubles. Goodluck to LMC 🙏. They said next phase will be out at the end of May 😁. U lucky you already bagged a spot.

Thank you. Yes, it is a big relief. 😁

Anyone else worried they filled out their survey monkey wrong and accidentally declined their spot 😅🤣

LOL!  😅😂😂 Their acceptance letter is a bit confusing. How did you find out you declined accidentally?

Yo! look guys. The first question about accepting your spot was a yes. Then the red highlighted question that followed up was about would you like to forfeit your position to an alternate applicant it was supposed to be a no. So it was yes and followed by no. So if you guys did yes and yes or no and no that was technically declining your position. Chabot did this purposely to shake people off their spots. Hope guys we get in classes this coming fall 😄🙏👏

I received my acceptance letter as well 05/10 at 9:pm very excited and nervous 😌

I wish there was a way to see our answers. I feel like I only answered yes for the first question and left the second one blank. IDK
