in your story about the 101y old gentleman who bowled, you asked him if he wouldn't rather have some pretty nurse giving him a foot massage.
you might have thought your comment was "cute," but as an rn i found it really offensive. nurses constantly have to rebut the media portraying them in inaccurate or demeaning ways. while you may have thought nothing about your remark, it was dismissive of nurses, whether or not you intended it to be.
perhaps you should spend a part of next week (national nurses' week) following some real nurses and finding out what they actually do, and why your life could some day depend on one of them.
