CGFNS New MExico

HI,

I just want to know if there are any LPN graduates who are neither a US citizen or Green card holder who have tried applying for Licensure in New Mexico? How did the CGFNS processing go?

Thanks

Just because you can sit for the PN exam, you cannot get a visa to work in the US as an LPN.

That training is only useful if you already hold a green card or are a US citizen. US immigration will not permit you to work in the US otherwise as the LPN does not qualify for any visa.

Please take the time to do some reading here, that is already much on the topic.

And CGFNS has nothing to do with licensure for NM, even for the RN.

You cannot work in the US with the LPN, you must have BSN and RN after your name if you are from the Philipines. And if anyone tells you otherwise, they are telling you to do something illegal.

Suzanne4 is most correct. You have to get CGFNS while you are in Mexico along with TOEFL/TSE, and get a TN employment based temperory visa. Your employer can then bring you to America on the TN and you can test for NCLEX-RN or NCLEX-LPN. You test for both incase you do not pass NCLEX-RN first time around. The process is filled with mucho problemas.

Saludo, Filipe
