CGFNS CVS - somebody here facing the same situation?

Hey everyone!

I'm a nurse from Germany and moved to the States a year ago. Once I received my Greencard, I started my application with cgfns for my credential verification purposes. This whole process seems to take forever. It took them 3 months, after the received all necessary documents, to tell me that there is a license number missing. We don't have such thing in Germany. We go to nursing school for 3 years and get a certificate/diploma afterwards. I have called them and after 40 min of waiting, they told me the person in charge is not at the desk and would get back to me via email tomorrow. I just feel like this process will take forever! Has anyone from Germany or elsewhere gotten through this service in New York and could give me some information about how it went? I feel like I have to be one step ahead of them , otherwise I will never get to work here...
