CFCC or SFC for Nursing School

Published

Hi Sheena,

My name is Christine and I live in Ocala. I am currently deciding which college I want to go to for my ADN. All of my pre and co req's are done! Yah!! Just need to take the Critical Thinking test. We have a good program in Ocala, but I wanted to see what you had to say about Santa Fe. The drive for me would be about 45 minutes, but worth it if the college is good enough.

How many days a week are you on campus? Also, how did you like the instructors at the school? I would just like a little bit more information before deciding on a school. I have been on the website and feel I am informed as to what is required of me before and during nursing school. However, any advice or tips you can give me would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for your time! All my best to you.

Hi Christine,

I noticed you haven't received any replies. I don't know anything other than its a pretty popular program and hard to get a seat.

I have a friend that lives in Ocala and applied. I forget the totally number of available seats but the amounts of applications they received in 2007 for the 2008 program was in the 300's!

She ended up at CFCC and is doing well.

Hello!

I am currently in the CFCC nursing program, at the citrus campus, but we all do the same things, just at different facilities and we havea slightly differnt schedual.

Anyway, I would go to information Sessions at both campuses.

Also you gotta think that clinicals are going to start early (7:30 AM for CFCC) I havn't a clue for santa fe, but they would be able to tell you at an info session.

I would highly consider drive time into the equation, thats time you can't study or sleep (both very desired durring school)

I would recommend CFCC, but what ever fits you best, and I haven't a clue about SFCC, sry.

and did you mean to post this as a personal message to someone?

just curious
