Hello All,
I would like to know what my options are as I see them slowly diminishing. I am a student at CFCC or newly changed to CF and have almost all prereq's to the RN Program completed. Next semester (A&PII and Microbio.) CFCC advertises first come, first serve policy but yet the RN Program has already managed to be filled for the Jan. start. That was my first choice, and in a frantic frenzy I decided to go the LPN route but I will not have my HESI done until the 4 of August hopefully. Deadline is August 2...yes I know. I'm still going to push. My question is if that does not happen where do I go? I can't just sit here? What colleges can take me? Do I just sit and wait to get into a program? I have no other classes I can take. Thank you.

You can get certified as CNA or a PCT until you can get into a program. I would also suggest that you apply to as many school that you can

I ran into the same thing. After meeting with the nursing advisors and being told I'd be fine, they wouldn't accept my application. How did you do on your HESI? I took the TABE test Monday and turned in my app for LPN. Good luck getting in, and let us know if/when you get your acceptance!
