Hi,
@Silverdragon102: I sent an email to CGFNS but have not received any responses yet. I actually tried calling BON Hawaii but the woman I spoke with told me that they do not require CES as opposed to what is written in their form. She wasn't that nice and cuts me off during our conversation, I just said ok then dropped.
@aiaa: Thanks, I am not sure how they differ. My understanding was that CES Full Education Course-by-Course Report refers to the academic one. But if you say that is what most states require, I will then be placing an order for that :)
I will shoulder the cost for my NCLEX and just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing.. $350 is $350.
Hawai'i was actually one of the states I was planning to apply in. But I chose NM. Hawai'i BON requires CES or CP. It states in the CGFNS website that professional report is what mostly is being used when you are a professional. Academic report is used when you want to pursue further education. I personally ordered that service (and had it expedited). It was processed in 2 days business days. I applied last Friday. They sent the report to NM BON today. That quick. I paid $350 + $250. From what country are you? :)
Whow. REAL quick. :) I don't have that much :) besides, I am still enrolled in a review center and will finish the program by July so no rush. I am planning to take the exam this August (if possible).. Not sure though how long it will take for the entire application before I can take the exam. Some would say it's 5-6mos.. if that is the case, I might just take it by October or November.. :)
BTW, I am from the Philippines :) and you?

Yeah, I guess even if I live here it'll take some time still. I hope I could take the test sometime July-Sept. I'm currently enrolled in Kaplan - On demand. It's prolly gonna last 3 months. I'm from the Philippines too. :)
Hello everybody, I'm planning to take the NCLEX Florida and have to evaluate my course. Can I still use my CES Professional Report in the year 2011? So that it will be more cheaper if just for reevaluation? I have my own applicant's copy. Please advice.
Probably need reevaluation as report must come from CGFNS. Alternatively ask the BON

Hi,
I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and am trying to take NCLEX this year.
I was wondering if you can help me understand what type of CES is required for Hawaii NCLEX application. I was advised by a friend that I need to obtain the CES academic report but everytime I try to place an order at CGFNS site, I am receiving below error message:

Shall I order for the Professional report instead? Hawaii NCLEX application form indicates CES Full Education Course-by-Course Report.
Any responses will be highly appreciated :)
