Ces report

Can someone tell me exactly how the ces evaluation operates interms of assessing whether an applicants education is comparable to that of the US. Specifically i realize the passing grade in the america is 65 percent, for my country its 60 percent so does this mean cgfns would require me to resit the classes I got 64 percent and under in before sitting the nclex?

Specializes in Complex pedi to LTC/SA & now a manager.

Passing in most US nursing programs is 75-85% with 100% for drug calculation. I'm not sure where you got 65% from as that is failing in the US. Did you graduate with a degree?

Yeah BSN so would I technically need to go back to school to get 75 percent and over.

If you met your school's passing criteria there should be no issue. If you graduated from a program with a 75% minimum passing and transferred to a program with 85% minimum passing you would not need to repeat. Only if your coursework and clinical is not substantially equivalent to US nursing education would additional classes be required.
