New GRE Setup

Just wondering if any of you took the new GRE's? I just took mine today..... 670 Quantitative 610 Verbal (Unofficial Scores) I don;t know about the writing part yet bc that takes a while to get graded.

Anyhow.... just wondering if you all had any insight to the new GRE's and if my score is competitive enough to get into a program?

The thing I don't really like about the writing exam, is that the scores must be rather subjective. I'm not quite sure why they changed it.

I don't know what program you're applying to, but those scores look good to me.

I'm applying to def VCU, Duke (long shot.... but just want to try), maybe one of the FL schools, not sure yet. Most likely though my plan is to stay in VA.

I have to agree that the writing exam is def too subjective.....supposedly the GRE website states that it is bc this way they can get a better idea of your critical thinking skills... HUH? makes no sense...
