University of Utah Midwifery Program

Specialties CNM

Published

Hi everyone!

I am interested in becoming a CNM and will be finishing up my ADN this May. I have looked into a lot of different options as far as midwifery school goes and am trying to figure out what the best path, for me, will be. I have scoured the internet for any sort of feedback about the U's midwifery program and have had no such luck in finding ANYTHING! I do know that you must have your BSN prior to applying to their program but I will only have my ADN as of May. I have looked into other programs, as I mentioned, including Vanderbilt and Frontier, specifically their ADN to MSN options. From other reviews, it sounds like these schools are great! I am leaning more towards an "in classroom" type of program. I also reside in one of the collaborating states in which Utah offers in-state tuition for many individuals thus the cost to attend, if I was accepted, would be very affordable. Sorry for the rambling...I am just hoping to gain some more knowledge about this program as it seems that it would be a smart choice. Thanks is advance!
