Hi Marley,

no wonder why Cerritos nursing is so impacted.. If everyone that doesn't get in they let them back in the lottery for the following year.. Did you apply to other colleges/universities? Don't be sad, Cerritos was just not for us.. We will get into a nursing program.. :)

Yes I did, but I wanted Cerritos as a back up in case I didn't get into my first choice with is RCC

I know me too.. Last week I applied to WGU they are accredited with the BRN, that is where I actually picked this university. I sent in my transcripts last Thursday, I have a phone appointment with them this Friday coming up to see if I qualify for their BSN route. You should check it out. Western Governors University.

Hey guys I have a question, i am actually not from the area and i live very far from cerritos college. One of their requirements says that you have to take the assessment test of the school. However, I have already taken it in my school and I am just wondering whether i still have to take it at cerritos? Thank you!

Did you have math and English done at another college? That will get transferred over once you show OFFICIAL transcripts.

But if you haven't taken anything I would call admissions and records and ask if you can bring the proof that you already took the assesment test.

Hello everyone, I am new to this thread. I got accepted for spring 2017, took me almost 4 years, has anyone for spring; has anyone started the background check? I get nervous I will forget something and be denied entrance.

Get your **** done as soon as possible. Do not wait till the last minute. Trust me on that. Good luck to you. Get it all done at cerritos, its much faster . And don't forget to ask them for your actual lab values for drug test

Hey thanks for the reply! The nursing orientation packets says to start background check in December. Just wondering if that is true? I finished all of my lab work and vaccines just not sure when to upload everything. Any advice helps

Im not sure about spring semester. But its already november and i think spring semester starts late january so I would upload everything into castle branch by now if i were you.
