Cerritos college nursing fall 2018

I was just wondering did anybody else apply to Cerritos College Nursing for Fall 2018? Do you guys have anything to share about the application, or application process, teas, or anything ?

Is everyone currently taking classes or taking a break?

I moved a few hours a way temporarily, so I'm currently taking an online class from cerritos. I was thinking of applying to a school here and checking their program but if I get accepted I'm moving back.

I'm currently taking a break rn. If I'm not accepted then I will go to LVN program instead. I heard that LVN is very easy to find job tho

or there are options you can do psychiatric technician or respiratory therapist program. Their prerequisite classes are very simillar to RN!

I was looking for an LVN program as well, but my mother in law (She is an LVN) told me that its best to go for RN since I already have the requirements but it is so competitive. Where i'm staying at the RN program is 2 hours away and for LVN is 15 mins away.

I just received my letter today and unfortunately I didn't get in. I've been keeping up with this thread since it was started I hope you guys make it in! I wasn't eligible for the lottery because I repeated 2 core courses :/ writing one and anatomy. Looking at west coast now, this is my 5th denial!

To be honest with you, I think Westcoast is not a good idea. My friend went there and she said it's very stressful due to homework and exam. Another friend of mine got kicked out of the program for failing 3 times( he paid for the first and second semester already) and he is studying LVN for now.
