Mine had biology, chemistry, and anatomy and physiology and Cerritos accepted it. I didn't know u could pick and choose what type of science. U should call Cerritos and ask to speak to the nursing program and see which they accept.

Did you have any repeats for the english class or the science prerequisites? Do you remember which number alternate you were?

Does anyone know if there will be any bridge students admitted this Spring?
thank you 😊

Hi there,

I just started in the Fall.  Don't worry about registration, the director (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME- please do not post names/identifying info about others per the Terms of Service) will register for you 🙂

So you're basically enrolled in 3 courses total.  Semester 1 will consists of ADN 210 (Foundational), ADN 200A (Pharm I), and ADN215 (Healthcare Participant).

We are starting with a new ciriculum so everything is pretty new for us as well.  You have to commit to the program. It will get a bit more intense as the weeks goes by.  Final exams are ALL cummulative, so don't forget to review.  ADN 210 consists of lecture, 2 days in labs, and after your 8th week or so, you will be in clinical.

Time management is key when it comes to completing your assignments so you can have time to study.

In addition, ask questions, make study groups (w/ your labgroup or w/ other people).  Ask lots of questions and be in Skill Labs to practice your skills (ex. Foley cath, NG tube, Vital Signs, enema, Bolus feeding, etc.).  Use the skills labs wisely because you will be asked to perform these skills during CPE exam.

Best of luck :). Congrats on your acceptance!
