Yup I just got it right now 😭

What about? No ... I didn't

Yes I just did also I received it at 8:18pm. Does anyone know if we need the COVID + booster? I have none of those vaccines.

If you read the attached letter on the email, says we do.

Got the email too! I'm an alternate & now I'm nervoussss 😂

Hi everyone! I'm an alternate as well and just got the e-mail for orientation.

I just had my blood work done at work and was told I have no immunity to HepB and Varicella... so I am going to have to get those vaccines again even though I received them as a child. Thankfully my job is going to do it for me.

I have my COVID vaccine and 1 booster... hoping I don't need more than that.

I did not receive my flu vaccine in Winter of 2023 as I usually do because I was on a LOA. I'm hoping this isn't a deal breaker and am wondering if I should just get the flu vaccine this week and if it would count for the previous flu season 😅

I'll probably have to do another TDAP vaccine because it's been over 10 years...

SO my point is I hope I get a spot as an alternate because I'm going to be getting a lot of vaccines in the next few weeks 😂😂

I am also concerned about the flu shot. Hope someone is able to follow up about that

@Dpelayo same I would say I need 5 vaccines 🥲 since I'm an alternate IDK if we should wait until orientation & see if we make it in? Also, do u guys recommend getting titers done to see immunity to  MMR etc?

Yeah I'm just going to wait till the orientation and see if I get in or not tbh.🤔

hi, did you guys do any online classes in the program, or is everything in-person?

In the first 9 weeks of first semester, we had to go in person for lecture, clinicals, and lab 5 days/ week. After that, our lectures become 50% in-person, 50% online. In our recent class though, our lectures were all online.

We have a good amount of time before our program starts. Would you say it is smart to first wait until orientation before starting to get all of my vaccines updated?
