I've applied to Central Texas College (Killeen, TX) for their LVN program. I've had issues with them for the past 2-3 years (lied about deferring me, financial aid issues, & HESI score expiring). It just seems like I am constantly having issues with this school. I have money through the GI Bill and it will pay for my tuition and books. I don't want to waste money that is providing an education for me. I finally got everything squared away but another issue came up and I'm starting to feel like this is a sign that maybe I should apply to another school. This is the only school I've applied to because it's only 10 minutes from my house. My question - Can anyone tell me about the program at Central Texas College Nursing Program (Killeen, TX) and give me a comparison to Temple College Nursing Program (Temple, TX)? Thanks in advance!

I just recently graduated from CTC and having received my LVN from another school, I can say CTC has a lot of work to do. I too had problems getting into their program after being lied to and I also had countless problems in the program. I am just glad to be done with that school and I have no intention on ever stepping foot back on their grounds. I also have 3 co-workers who are trying to transition from LVN-RN and they have been getting the run around so 2 of them have given up on going there. I've heard of much better outcomes from Temple College students. Can't speak fully for them since I didn't go there but from what I heard, I would of preferred that school. Good Luck to you!
I'm so sorry I'm just receiving your reply! Thank you so much. I'm definitely looking at other programs!
