Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) Nursing Admission

Published

Is there anyone here applying for the CPCC nursing program for Spring 2024? I took the TEAS today and passed with an overall score of 80.7; my reading score is 89.7, math is 88.2. I have also completed all prerequisites and will have 48.67 points. I wonder if this is Enough or I should resit the TEAS.

I emailed it! @Biscuitluvr

You type it. Basically, you click on the application link and a pdf will open. You just type in your information like a fill in type thing. Once you're done, you'll save the application paper you typed on separately and send it through email along with your TEAS scores and CNA stuff if you didn't take it directly through the school. @Nursehopeful1876

Perfect! Just sent mine this morning!

Will send mine in the evening. I am a little worried, that I don't have enough points, but I am still gonna submit the application.

Hey! I checked the website and it seems like we won't hear back until 5 weeks from the deadline. I know it wasn't listed on the application but are we required to have our BLS/CPR license? Mine expired this past June but I don't know if that's something that's needed now.

That's such a long time when I'm already feeling anxious about finding out LOL. Nope. I think it's only needed when you get into the program. The application doesn't require it.

I am so anxious as well, just hoping I have enough points!

this weekend marks 4 weeks since applications are due. Has anyone heard anything yet or any updates? Also- did anyone ever email you guys back after your submitted your application?

No updates sadly. I did get an email back after I submitted my application saying they got it.

that makes me nervous because no one officially responded back to me besides the generic "thank you for your email we'll respond back within 3 business day". I emailed them a few days ago and now they're asking me to forward the original email

Mmm I wonder why. I'm glad you emailed them  though so they'll make sure to look at your application. I'm hoping we hear something back by this Friday but no telling how long it'll be.

So the person said they're gonna email the dean to see if they'll still proceed since it's after deadline. But I originally sent my application beforehand ? hoping to hear good news because it definitely wasn't my fault since I submitted on the 22nd

That's honestly crazy and not your fault at all. They should honor it.

I will call tomorrow and just hope for good things like they have my application and just forgot to respond or something, but I'll also ask if they're close to finalizing and let you know
