Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) Nursing Admission

Published

Is there anyone here applying for the CPCC nursing program for Spring 2024? I took the TEAS today and passed with an overall score of 80.7; my reading score is 89.7, math is 88.2. I have also completed all prerequisites and will have 48.67 points. I wonder if this is Enough or I should resit the TEAS.

The lab groups where they split us between Group A or Group B.

When you click on the class it tells you 6:30-am or 1230 pm

I see the registration list but it doesn't tell me which lab group I'll be apart of. I guess they won't tell us until January unless you see it?

It's on the last page of the course calendar they sent out I just now saw it

Thanks so much! I see it now!

Now I didn't see that will have to go back home and look.  Which leads me to my next question, what's the 1230 and 630 class for?

They split is up with lab. The 6:30 is for lab group A and the 12:30 is for lab group B on Thursdays.

Okay I see that now. It's the samething my college... I am over this already????

I know this is an old thread but does anyone know if CPCC gives extra points for a BA and not a BS only? I have a previous BA with a 4.0 but not a BS and I noticed on their website it says previous BS or MS degrees get extra points. Thanks for any advice and info!

Keep in mind I applied Fall 2023, so, they may have changed things but on my application, it just said bachelor's degree, regardless if it was a BA or BS. I had a BS so it added extra points but I don't think it mattered, as long as you have a degree.

Thank you for the response!

Could you make your on schedule for the classes around your work schedule?

No, you need to accommodate your work schedule around your school schedule. First semester it's the entire cohort together I think Monday and Wednesday from 8am-2:30pm and then clinicals on Thursday
