The best nursing prof I had was a great nurse, lousy marker. You could sweat blood and he'd give you a mark. Nobody ever got a 100% from him.
I learnt a lot from him and after I graduated I told him that. He's now a friend.
Working as a nurse is hard, your marks in college don't really reflect on how well you will perform on the floor.
You want someone who is "nice and easy" or you want a teacher that you will learn from? One of the toughest teachers I ever had in school made you work for every mark but you really learned your stuff because you knew she was going to be demanding. She wasn't unkind but she didn't let you slack off either. She was also an awesome nurse.
