Cell Phones & Tumors

Has there been any research done, that says that cell phones cause brain tumors?

Or is this just a rumor?

I feel the likelihood of cell phones causing cancer is about equivalent in legitimacy to the tin-foilers in Santa Fe who are suing the city due to their wifi allergy.

I am still recovering from a craniotomy to remove a brain tumor and this was a burning question I wanted to ask my neurosurgeon...he immediately threw out the correlation between cell phones and tumors. He did say that he'd seen an alarming number of younger people with brain tumors though. My husband actually works for a cell phone company though and I have not used a home phone in over 3 years...which means I'm ALWAYS on a cell phone. However, the typen of tumor I had occurs mainly in females, so that definately throws out cell phone use...simply because I'm a female in this case...
