It stinks that the hospitals have all the leverage considering they know there aren't that many jobs out there....

Yeah, this is awful. At least some hospitals are straight out honest and tell you when you're waitlisted or rejected. I honestly don't even know if it's worth working here anymore. I've already found a job part-time elsewhere. If Cedars calls, that would great because I can work full-time there, and work whenever else at my other job. But right now, it's not looking like I'll get that (at least not with cedars). I'm just thankful I have something to do now.

I hate talking about how relieved I am about finding a job b/c there are so many people on here that haven't but it's hard not to be... Especially considering Cedars has decided its no longer important to keep people in the loop!

P.S. GOOD LUCK to everyone who is still waiting and I hope things work out the way you want them to!!!! Keep your heads up and think Positive!

I work for a home health agency. I would prefer a hospital still, but I'm not even going to complain with what I have right now. I do live in LA, but it's still hard to find jobs at hospitals. I've applied to five, got automatically rejected from 3, got only 2 interviews (rejected from 1), and I'm still waiting for the other (Obviously Cedars...which looks like I'm not getting a call).

Did earlier rejections have the Phase II? Does this mean I almost made it?

I'm so sorry to hear that... My rej email had the same title as urs... I wish u the best of luck cuz believe me I'm having a challenging time attempting to find a job that will take a new grad; cedars was my first interview and had a second interview for a home care just yesterday.... I wish they did not kept u waiting for so long though it must of been fustrating... All I can say is vent all u want here we are here to listen & to vent too :) hugs >(^.^)<...>

I am seriously considering stopping my search for nursing jobs and just continuing with my current occupation.

California is going to lose so many new nurses who are going to have to move on to make a living. It is hurting us now but I think they are going to feel the pain later.

I am sorry to hear as well. I actually asked RL on Friday what was going on and she said they were going to letting people know early this week. I still haven't heard a thing. Vent all you want, you have to talk to someone!
