Cedars-Sinai new graduate Residency program for November 2015

Made this thread for all of those currently going through the interview process for the November Cohort at Cedars. Good place to talk/ask questions, get to know each other and post any updates or news. I did The virtual interview last Tuesday and I know last day To submit was Saturday the 12th. Has anyone heard anything or know when we should expect to hear back from them? Any one know Any specific dates like when the program starts?

I heard back yesterday with an invitation for the second round of interviews. My interview is scheduled for Friday the 25th. The program starts November 9th. I hope you received good news as well!

My second Interview went well I interviewed for Labor and Delivery and from what I've heard this is the first time they open up L&D to New grads. I spoke with Anthony and he said there were 70 candidates yesterday and not one no show and he said he could not confirm how many spots were open because each department will accommodate based on how candidates did on interviews. For L &D Sujane told me that there are 8 or so spots but that they open it up to internal transfers first and however many spots are left over will go to New grads could be as few as 1or 2 or as many as 4 or 5 but from what Anthony told me there were a lot of candidates interviewing for L&D so fingers crossed everyone!

I feel like my interview went well also. At least I hope so! The lady who interviewed me was one of the nurse educators, but she didn't know much about how many spots were open in L&D, or any other units, so thank you for letting us know! All she said was they usually try to keep their new grad cohorts under 30 people. I feel like my interview was very general, but I'm hoping to be selected for either women's health or peds. One more round to go, I hope we make it! :)
