Cedars Sinai New Grad Summer 2020

Hey everyone!

This is a thread for those who got an application in for the Summer 2020 Cohort (Apply in early June, Interview event in July, License needed before July 8, 2020). It looks like the application is already closed. Does anybody have an idea of when it opened? I just so happened to find it and applied on June 2.

My status is "application under consideration" - June 2.

This might be a stupid question but regarding the connectivity test, do any of you know if we will be directly speaking to someone on the other end (for example IT or HR) or do you think this is just an automatic computer type test to test everything out? I’m on the exact same boat. I have work that day so I was just going to log in through my phone to get checked in during my break but I’m not sure... it sounds like we’re all on at 10am, so I doubt it’ll be with someone but more to make sure on our end we can hear them and etc.

I got an email yesterday with my interview time! did everyone else get theirs?!

Yes I got mine too it’s at 2pm! Do you think we’ll get another email with more details?

I feel like we won’t get more information. My email did specify which unit but my friend’s didn’t specify. But from that alone I Can say it will be unit specific interview on the 8th most likely. I just want to know if this is first of couple more interviews to follow if they like you, or if this is the one and they choose.

Yeah my email didn’t specify either!

I think it will just be one interview and then they decide from there. Based on the last cohort that applied, it sounded like they had one unit specific interview and were selected.

Hi!

I received an invitation for an interview. I can’t remember if HR said to reply to the email to confirm we received it. Also are we going to receive another email for the connectivity test?

Yes! Email did say respond back by a certain date so make sure you do. And you would get another email with an actual time on the 8th when you would log in to interview. But no other info about Connectivity test minus to login on the 1st with the link. I had my unit on the invite but a lot of people’s also didn’t.

Thanks for your reply. The only email I received was my actual interview time and date which doesn’t say to reply by a certain date. I didn’t receive the link for the connectivity test. I’ll have to call HR to double check with them. Thanks!

May I ask what unit you are interviewing for?
