Cedars-Sinai New Grad Program Mar 2014

Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for the people in the Cedars Sinai New Grad program starting Mar 3! Maybe we can figure out good places to live, how to prepare, etc!

My interview was almost an hour long (or it felt that way)!! but all the questions were "managerial" type; quality improvement, patient satisfaction etc, much less clinical than the first one. OH, and the question "Have you ever broken the rules?" that one was tough! good luck to everyone. I hope we hear back soon!

My interview was pretty casual. Two people were called back for a second interview shortly after their interview was done (same day). Any idea as to why that was?

mine was also about 25-30 min. interviewed by 2 people. behavior questions; hard to know what the outcome will be.

@kly i was told was back before in april that they had 30 spots, but maybe that changed ... 32 people interviewed is not that much, but does hurt if there are only 20 spots.

did anyone have a later interview time, like after 3 or 4PM who noticed how many names were on sign in sheet?

The nurse manager interviewing me said less than 2 weeks. From previous cohorts it seemed to take about a week. I'm hoping for sometime this week!

I asked someone when I was leaving the interview and she said within a week! So hopefully soon...

Nope nothing yet. I was hoping we would hear today. Hopefully they'll call tomorrow!
