does anyone know what cedars does for scrubs/uniform? I didn't see any information in the packet about that. Also, do all the papers that require a signature get turned in when we meet with HR?

I'll be on the NICU (4N), nights too!

Hi cas0503. we are going to be starting July 1st, but we don't yet know what unit we will be working on. Hopefully that information is to come soon. During the first round of in-person interviews, we each put our unit of choice on the cover page of our packet. (if you get invited to interview, this will all make sense :)) During interviews, they ask you what unit you would like to work on as well. I hope that helps!

I received a call last night in regards to my background check. The HR lady on the phone needed more information about some of my past jobs. I also got the skills survey email for reference check. I imagine once our references and background check are complete, then maybe they will send us the official job offer documents.

I received an offer this morning too! Couldn't be more elated. I'm so sorry for those who didn't make it; they really dragged out the whole process.

I didn't hear anything. the wait is killing me. it's got to happen tomorrow right?!

update: I just got through to nurse recruitment and was told it would be sometime next week. they couldn't say whether it would be early or late in the week. boo.

i just tried calling HR to ask about the time frame, but only got a voicemail. did anyone have any luck?

The nurse manager interviewing me said less than 2 weeks. From previous cohorts it seemed to take about a week. I'm hoping for sometime this week!

when I called last week to ask about the time, they said that once everyone RSVP's (by the 22nd) they would then be sending out more specific times. He said the event would start at 2pm. With that said, I'm guessing we won't be hearing about times until Wednesday.

Hi all! I interviewed for the NICU today and asked at the end when we would expect to hear about whether we get an offer or not. Donnya said they were reviewing applications this Friday and would likely be making calls early next week. So, we don't have to wait to long!! (at least NICU applicants) Best of luck :)
