Cedar Sinai New Grad Residency February 2020 Cohort

Hi, I just applied to Cedar Sinai new grad residency program, and they stated a 3.5 nursing GPA was required. Does anyone know what they mean by nursing GPA? Is that science GPA or all nursing classes? Thanks!!

Im guessing just nursing classes. Has anyone heard anything from Cedars Sinai for the February cohort?

Not yet we are supposed to hear starting today! That’s what it said after I applied that we’d hear back starting on the 20th!

Hey everyone, I just talked to Cedars HR and they will be sending interview invites by the end of December ?

I just got an email interview invite - however I'm confused because a few days ago I got TWO rejection emails saying that I don't meet basic qualifications. I'm having a hard time finding someone to actually contact in their HR department to clarify- does anyone have any contacts there? Thank you!

Hi! I received the same rejection email as well and was super sad lol. What is the status of your application? I was confused because my email said something like i didn’t meet the qualifications based on the answers to the questions. I looked over my application and felt like this was a mistake. I hope i receive the interview invite

My application says "Under Consideration." Maybe there was some sort of glitch/mistake made on their end - keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Did anyone receive a video interview? I thought that was the first step in the process before they sent out email interview invites, but I received an email invite for Jan 8th. Good luck everyone!

I got the same thing.. rejection email.. then interview invite on Jan 8.. bring a portfolio, etc.

Am I being punk or something?

I got the same rejection! and was super sad because I thought i met all the qualifications! I think it was a glitch! Does anyone know if L&D is available? I only Postpartum and Peds as the only maternal-child nursing options...

do you guys know what questions will be asked? general new grad RN questions? behavioral? situational?
