Congratulations! Would you mind sharing your stats? I’m thinking about taking my GREs because my GPA isn’t competitive enough ?

Sure. My GPA is a 4.0 and I have 2 1/2 years of Critical Care experience in MICU (both Community Based and Level 1). I have my CCRN and also took my GRE. I did not submit the GRE scores to Cedar Crest since they are not required, but I am looking into two other schools in South Carolina and Tennessee as well (I have family down there) and they require the GRE. I unfortunately had no time to study for it and just winged it. I scored a 297 combined and a "4" on the Analytical Writing.

I have heard that if people study really hard for the GRE and do well on it, it can help overshadow a weaker GPA.

I hope this helps! Best of luck!

I think you’ll get into your other options too but thanks for the information! Good luck to you too!
