CCSN: In your own opinion

U.S.A. Nevada

Can anyone tell me about their opinions/experiences at CCSN? Whether it be for the LPN and/or RN programs.

Also, one of my friends is hoping to go to CCSN for LPN this summer. They would like to start in the Summer semester and "fast track" and finish by the end of the Fall semester. Is this possible or would it take much longer (for either the prerequisite or non-prerequisite track)?

PS: My friend already has some cna/hospital experience.

Thanks for any comments/information.

Hi there! I attend CCSN and Nevada State Henderson. I've decided not to go into the RN program but I can tell you when I was working towards it, everything was very easy to do. I recieved consistant information and the school was VERY helpful. I really like the school and thought the teachers where awesome!

I wish I could tell you more about the program.

So you're going to be doing tour rn program at NSH? When will you be starting there? Just 3 more months before my bf and I move to Vegas. I just hope we save enough $$ to hold us over til we find jobs.

Hi, I am in my first semster (18 day's left of it!) of the RN program at CCSN. I think it's a great program. I did about 7 of my prereq's here also. The staff is very helpful and their for you if you need to talk about anything. The admin clerk for the nursing department (who is way more then your average admin clerk) is super. I can give you her name and number if you would like, she can answer just about any question you may have. Your best bet is to go over to the campus (I use the West Charleston Campus), go to B building and right inside the lobby there you will see the health science area, talk with them and see when orientation is they will direct you from there. If I can help out email me. Good luck!
