Out of curiosity, anyone applying for City College of SF nursing program for Spring 2019?
It would be my first time applying and I'm nervous haha. My GPA is at minimum but I work at a SNF, although I'm not getting my hopes up too much. I know they started doing by merit starting 2018.
If you're someone who applied already, any tips? Thanks everyone!

I'm going into my 3rd semester at ccsf, the merit system is new but i do know that you will have a good shot being that you already have hospital experience good luck. try to make sure ur sciences, math, and english are in good standing. did you mean spring 2018
How do you like CCSF's nursing program?
I don't have experience with direct patient care but I'm counting that working at a SNF will count points as volunteer/work experience at health care portion.
I meant applying during August 2018 for Spring 2019.
Thank you !

Hi Mermaid,
I was planning on applying for Spring 2019, but I mistakenly signed up for the wrong Anatomy Class (duh!) and now find myself having lost a semester or pre-requisites. I'm frustrated. I'm thinking of taking Anatomy through UC Berkeley Extension even though it's quite expensive. They offer the lecture part of the class online and the lab as an in person class (I guess this is called a hybrid class). Do you happen to know if CCSF will accept this? Where did you do your pre-reqs?
Good luck!
Jen
I'm not entirely sure if it's the same anatomy required with CCSF. I think it would be best to ask the nursing department. I did all my prerequisites at CCSF. Maybe you can also take Anatomy in the summer? which I think would be hard
Thanks Mermaid!
Forever Grateful...how do you like the program?
