Hello!
Is anyone applying for to CCRI this August for Spring 2021 nursing program.
Applying with 190 points to the Lincoln campus.
Goodluck to everyone!!
Hey everyone! I'm applying for February. I got my points up to 203.6, so I'm hoping I get in for September. I haven't decided if I want Warwick or Newport. I'm in NK, so I'm between the two. I'm off facebook too, so I don't have access to the fb group. I used to, but had to get off of it. Good luck to everyone who's just starting or applying!
Alright, this is all really great information! Question for you ItsNae, How long did it take you to fill out your pbhs application? I couldn't find any info on exactly what is in the application, and I'm curious. And holy cow jlmailloux, leave some points for the rest of us! Nice Work! I'm guessing you are an LPN? Did you do the program at CCRI? If so, how was it? I'm just shy of 200pts at the mo, and am hoping that is enough to get me in. I wouldn't mind doing an LPN program, but I'd rather save the time and money and just start in the ADN program ASAP!
You guys all have great amount of points! It’s all up to the pool of ppl applying so each campus has a different cut off. I think I had 193 or 194 I got in to my first choice of providence. The last time around ppl were getting through in the high 180’s. I didn’t have CNA points but I’m a CNA now LOL I missed that deadline LOL
Thanks ItsNae! I’ve been biting my nails, wondering how high points need to be to get in, and wondering if more or less people will be applying due to the state of the world. My guess would be more? Anywhoo, how involved of a process was filling out the pbhs application, if you don’t mind me asking? Just wondering if we are talking minutes, hours, or days LOL. Happy Saturday!
From what it seems you guys have nothing to worry about ?. I guess it could be more or less applying, I know it’s tough for some like myself who have kids only in school for two days a week Bc of hybrid learning; then there are the ppl who are scared of covid; and then There is ppl who want to help the world! So who knows what the pool of ppl would be like. The application period isn’t bad just getting all of the vaccine paperwork, medical clearance from your doctor, immunizations, background check, and physical. That took alittle bit and you have a deadline after your in. The last day to apple was 8/30 and I knew I was on by the 2nd week of September I believe or going right into the third week.
I became a CNA in 2008 or 2009 through the Cranston Adult Education program. I had to retake Psychology this past semester because I had a C in it and I needed the additional 20 points. So now I'm taking intro to micro while I wait. I really hope that I get in this time around, but who the heck knows!
Hi again all! Good idea getting micro out of the way in advance jlmailloux! I’m currently taking A&P2 to get that out of the way. Also, we’ll think I’m going to go for Newport as my first choice. Will be same distance as Warwick for me, less traffic/crowds to deal with, and more beach access close by LOL.
Another question for those of you that have previously applied: How involved is the initial online application? I’m just wondering if this is something I will be able to do on my phone on lunch break, or if it takes longer to get through. If it is a longer application, do you need to complete it in one session (ie no saving and coming back later), or does it allow you to save your progress and come back to work on it later? Thanks again for all of your insights!

It takes about 2 minutes, it’s really straight forward
Hey again all, For those of you that have applied for the ADN at CCRI, I've got a question. I just applied, and when I look at the summary for my application (by clicking on the 'Performance-Based Health Sciences Application and Status Check' link in my 'for students' tab), none of my points show up in my application summary (see screenshot below). Is that normal, or should I contact someone at the school? All of my points still show up accurately in the 'PBHS Pre-Admission Points/Status Check' link.
Also, in the 'PBHS Pre-Admission Points/Status Check' link, none of my preferences for campus show up either. Should they?
I just figured I would check with you guys before pestering the peeps at CCRI. Thanks!

Hahahaha you are just like me!!! I told myself I’d never go back an deactivated mine 7 years ago! ? I made a separate account as private as I could! I even put in the title “school account only” because I wanted no part of it! Al I want is randomn info LOL I’m trying to fly under the radar ans so far I’m pretty good (don’t even have my full name on there). My providence campus is split into 4 sections and in the groups for lab is 7-8 students each. But for lecture it’s everyone online at the time.
