Hi, I'm applying this February 2016 for the nursing program, who's with me?
Anybody else have a red flag on the side of their "already applied" tab on the pre-admission checklist. I applied on February first with a total score of 186.6 and when I went on my checklist on Thursday a red flag showed up so I called CCRI admissions and they referred me to the nursing program and they had no idea why that was on it so they referred me to the head of the nursing admissions department and I had to leave a message. I talked to my friend who applied as well and it is showing up on her checklist as well. Way too much stress to think everything is okay with the application to then see a red flag show up and nobody knows why or can explain what it means. Hope everyone gets their first choice of location.
Applying for Providence campus. I have a 182.5. If I don't get in right away I won't be too heartbroken. Used to heartbreak as I left the RIC nursing program last year because it really is not set up for single parents who have to work full time. CCRI seems a lot more manageable. No ridiculous pass/fail ATI exams, which completely killed me Fundamentals year. Feeling positive about the CCRI program.
I looked into the RIC 2nd bachelor's program and began the application process but I got the same feeling- that there wasn't a good chance of making it work as an adult student/parent. I'm sorry things didn't work out for you there. It seems like CCRI is a great option for nontrad students and has a great reputation. Good luck in your application!
Only about a month more to wait, right?! I am so nervous!
I should have started at CCRI but RIC convinced me to go for my Bachelor's (even though I already had one). Wish I hadn't spent 4 years taking pre-reqs I didn't need! Oh well, we live and learn. I have friends who have gone through the CCRI program and they think it is more hands on than RIC. I feel it is better to get your associates, get a job in the field, then have your employer pay for you to earn your Bachelor's (as we will all need them by 2020).

Today I took my re-take and applied. I am so excited I can't stop smiling and jumping around. One step closer.
Does anyone know as far as immunizations do they all have to be redone. I know my MMR were done as a child. I see the form, but just not sure how to prove that I have them, along with D-Tap and flu, etc. Do we attach paperwork of what? Can CPR be taken anywhere as long as it AHA?
Here's to waiting another month.
