2014 CCP Nursing Program

I figured I would start this topic to lower my anxiety just a little. I took the health allied test today and I have to wait till next week to get my scores. I really feel like im on pins and needles right now and I know I'll be a nervous wreck when I actually wait for my acceptance. Before I even got started on my journey to be a nurse I came across this website and It really answered a lot of questions about the application process, and was insightful in other areas of nursing that enabled me to think of more questions for answering. what I really love the most was that in previous years ccp applicants supported each other during the nerve wrecking waiting period on getting accepted. that support was so tremendous that a lot of the applicants bonded and became friends. Is there anyone else that has applied for the 2014 CCP program?

I just finished trying on uniforms. I have a blue dot as well

What brand of stethoscope are you guys buying?? and What color??

I was going to get a Littman and probably pink or blue.

I am getting the Luminiscope brand. I heard great reviews about it and one of the first year student told me to go to Amazon because they have one fore cheaper price... ($20 - it is a kit) I went and liked it. I am getting pink too.

I am worried about the uniform pants. I tried them and they were so baggy in the crotch area.

I am going to check that out on Amazon. Maybe they will fit better after they go through the dryer.

Yeah I notced that too..I told the short white lady that can they slim fit it..she said she doesn't know if they can do that..mtcheew

I want to know if I can do all my titers and physical at rite aid or cvs and does anybody knows how much it cost

I an planning to CVS when I get home so I will let you know. I have work insurance so if mine covers the vaccines I might just get them and forget about the titers.

I checked the CVS Minute Clinic site and they do the TB test for $28. It isn't covered by insurance though.
