2014 CCP Nursing Program

I figured I would start this topic to lower my anxiety just a little. I took the health allied test today and I have to wait till next week to get my scores. I really feel like im on pins and needles right now and I know I'll be a nervous wreck when I actually wait for my acceptance. Before I even got started on my journey to be a nurse I came across this website and It really answered a lot of questions about the application process, and was insightful in other areas of nursing that enabled me to think of more questions for answering. what I really love the most was that in previous years ccp applicants supported each other during the nerve wrecking waiting period on getting accepted. that support was so tremendous that a lot of the applicants bonded and became friends. Is there anyone else that has applied for the 2014 CCP program?

I havent register for classes. I went to ccp today and i was told that i have to wait till orientation day to register. I dont know how to register before that day because i dont wanna go to school everyday

Did they explain why you have to wait until orientation to register? Has your enrollment profile changed to nursing yet?

It has changed, have paid the deposit and have even received my orientation packet

You should be able to register then. Did you try to do it online? Once registration is open, you should be able to choose classes.

the page says "alternate pin" and i told them what is that. They said ssince am a first timer, so i have to wait till then. i was so mad but a lady told me to come back tomorrow. i hope i can register tomorrow

Hi kayfactor,

Was it an academic advisor that told you, you would need to wait until orientation? Normally if you meet with an academic advisor they can remove the message asking for an alternate pin. I would recommend going back today as well to see if they could remove the message so that you can register.

Anyone started doing their criminal background and physical exam yet??

I think I am going to start mine this weekend. I also want to see what times CCP is offering the HCP CPR. Do we beed to have the physical on May 6, I can't remember and don't have my letter on hand.

No the letter says all documentation is due on June 15.

On the orientation letter it says we have to bring the 3 background checks but nothing about the physical. It says health forms will be distributed at orientation so im guessing we have to wait. I did the background checks and i just registered for the CPR class on walnut street for this saturday at 10
