2012 CCP Nursing program

Just wondering if anyone has received their acceptance letters for the fall 2012 program yet and if so how many points did you have?

I got the same exact thing saying just the label is created . Mines was supposedly shipped last Thursday and still no movement !!! I'm getting sort of worried because its just sitting wherever with a dumb label . How long does it take to get from king of Prussia ? I can go get it myself if I knew that I wouldn't have it in at least a day or two . I ordered and iPad on a Friday and it got to me Tuesday and it came from hong kong !!!

I checked it again this morning and it said it was on the truck and would be delivered by the end of the day, go figure. I hope it's the same deal for you too.

Yeah its really sad how everything with that company is all over the place. I did my order online because I didn't want to wait in another line at CCP and they still got things screwed up but at least my order got processed, I wasn't waiting for something that was never going to come. I still have to send back my pants becaus they are just hideous looking and i would rather buy some regular navy scrub pants than wear those uncomfotable things. The polo shirts are bad enough. How come the girls in the other medical programs get to wear regular scrubs? When I was down at CCP last week I saw girls in like seafoam green scrubs..I don't know what major they were but there was a bunch of them and they had no embroidered labels or anything on their clothes, just normal scrubs. I was jealous. I would have much rather had them embroider the regular scrub tops instead of these ugly polo shirts that don't fit right.

The neverending uniform struggle continues. After no sign of any package yesterday I checked the tracking info and there was a delivery confirmation. After checking with my neighbors I called UPS and they basically said, "Sorry, but you'll have to get the sender to trace it for you."

I know this isn't Advance's fault, but it still sucks and I'd like to know where to package could have gone to/been delivered by mistake.

Well at least we don't have to wear the uniforms the previous classes had to, lol. Blue ugly shirt with the white collar. Perhaps some of the hospitals require that non-employees not wear scrubs in order to avoid confusion. In the hospital where I volunteer, only the clinical employees are allowed to wear scrubs. The other girls may be doing medical assisting or something like that, and they may just be in doctor's offices. I feel the same way you do, but I won't be jealous anymore in two years when I've got an amazing career...and can wear comfy scrubs every day ;)

Did anyone else get that email from Barbara McLaughlin regarding the uniform requirements? She has me nervous about buying scrub pants from somewhere else. She said if they do not match properly we will not be allowed to attend clinicals.

I saw that too. I think as long as the color matches then it should be ok. i hope...lol

Yes I saw that. Now I'm not sure whether to buy them and find a good tailor so I don't look like a gangster (the XS is falling off my hips, dragging on the ground and the crotch is a good 6 inches below where it's supposed to be) or risk it and buy something that fits. There is NO SUCH THING AS "UNISEX"! Unisex = Men's. I'm going to find out if the company has navy scrubs for women, but no luck so far.

I found a uniform place near my house that has the same cover navy scrubs so I bought a pair but I decided not to return my ccp ones just in case.

By match I think she means within a certain color range . As long as the there are no apparent mismatches than u should be fine

All white shoes.

I wound up getting a pair of all white nike air max 90s they were on the more expensive side and in mens, but I knew what I was getting into since I've had to do the size conversions before and AM90s are hands down the most comfy pairs of shoes I have EVER EVER EVER owned in my life. I decided it was worth it.

I know feet and comfort levels are different, but I've worn this model(but in different colors/patterns) for 8 and 12 hour shifts that involved a lot of standing and walking and I felt ok with my decision.
