Hello!
Hope someone familiar with Philly's CCP nursing program can address your concerns. With the large volume of nursing applicants these days, mail can be mislaid. With the holidays and everyone off, I'd wait until first week January to followup with school.
Be aware that the job market in Philly 5 county area is SATURATED with nursing graduates. 75% hospitals requiring BSN for new applicants, scant open positions. ADN grads need to set their sights on finding a position outside hospital setting. Taking > 6 -12 months for some ADN grads to obtain position.
Hi Princess C,
I am also applying to the CCP 2015 Nursing program. I sent my application in on 12/16 and got my AHT letter on 12/20. So I feel that they work pretty fast. Once the admissions office receives all of the required documents for your application they will send you the date for your AHT. You have already applied so they have your application and March 13,2015 is the deadline for the AHT, so I think you are doing ok. I know it is nerve racking, I have been anxious and nervous waiting to take my AHT. Keep me posted on your progress.
I also applied for the 2015 CCP Nursing program and I applied with the early decision option and still haven't heard anything back yet:/ I applied and took my AHT back in November and thought we would hear back before the end of the Fall Semester but haven't heard anything.....so nerve racking!!!
I forgot I even made this post LOL.
So I took my AHT today and feeling really bummed out because I left many blanks in each section and I just guessed some of them. Do any of you know how they score the test? Do you have to get specific scores in each section or is it cumulative? How many points are each question worth?

The deadline for the 2015 Nursing program is fastly approaching (Jan 15th) and I'm starting to get really anxious.
I sent my application two weeks ago and they said it was recieved. However they said that my high school transcript, which the school sent days before I even sent my application, has not arrived yet. I am now worried that my high school transcript got lost in the shuffle.
Is it possible they do have my transcript but just haven't looked at it yet? How long was it until they viewed your stuff and gave you a test date? Should I ask for my transcript to be resent?
Sorry for all the questions but it's getting down to the wire and its nerve racking.
