I have been a CNS for over 15 years. I graduated from Duke University with an MSN in Adult Critical Care . At that time a separate course in pathophysiology was not a part of the program but rather pathophys. was incorporated within the 3 semesters of critical care courses. I have held the CCRN certification since 1980 and would now like to take the CCNS. Does anyone know if I will have to take additional course work in pathophysiology to meet the requirements?
