I created this for everyone to share their journey as you apply to nursing school. Please feel free to share stats or any information.

I think you’ll be just fine! Just keep working hard on your remaining pre requisites. ( I heard it’s good to have all the pre reqs done prior to applying, so that may have helped me)

Hi everyone. Am new here. Just finished my prerequisites and also pass my TEAS test. Will be applying for Fall 2021. My question is, are we doing both application from Simon and SHP CAS or just one. And which one will it be?

Good Morning Rita,

First off Congratulations on making it this far and to answer your question yes you will complete an application in SHP CAS as well as the one in Simon.

Hello All,

I applied for fall 2021 at Essex, I applied in Sept. after missing the deadline for Spring 2021. I am anxiously awaiting, I just pray that I get in. I’ve also applied to the ATB program with Notre Dame of Maryland. I am currently taking Chem, so that I will be able to apply to other programs at a later date if I do not get accepted. Good luck to everyone!

Hi ? I also applied to Essex for Fall 2021. I also applied  for the ATB but with Towson University. Which Fall program did you apply for?

Does anyone know how the calculate the science GPA for our program? My CAS application says my GPA is completely different than what it actually is. I emailed (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) and she said they don't go by the CAS GPA so that made me feel alot better. I have a 3.0 right now, but worried because I got a C in bio 221 and won't be taking micro until the Spring.
