CCBC FALL 2019

Hi all!

I just submitted my application to CCBCs Essex Day program for Fall '19. I immediately felt like I was going to puke! (hopefully this is a good indication?!) Anyway, I would love to connect with other applicants, so we can worry together.

I’m proficient in my TEAS as well. I studied 3 days prior. I’m beginning to believe they just took the ones above proficient regardless of GPA. I saw in the commment section that someone had 2.96 or something like that, but her TEAS was advanced.

Your GPA is good, focus more on the teas. I wouldn't retake any classes. I just applied for lpn as l do not feel like retaking the teas test again. I took it twice last semester before.

I’m not retaking classes. I am currently enrolled in A&P 2 and Pshych 103 and I was wondering if they count those into the reconsideration for waitlisted folks. Retaking the TEAS won’t help me with this semester at least.

I was going to apply like 10 years ago, I I know back then they had a sheet with a scoring system on it (4.0 gpa gets X number of points, 3.5 gets less points....and so on, and TEAS score ranges had points as well. Then your number if courses completed had certain number of points as well). I'm sure they still fo by a point system like most nursing programs, they just keep it super secret at CCBC for some reason!

Yea that I don’t understand. Like, why keep it a secret? Even high school let your know what number you are on the waiting list

I just got into 2019 fall ccbc day program at essex. I was wondering if anyone had the schedule of class times for the first semester. I need to submit it to my work asap ... was hoping some of you may still remember class times for these two classes (or are able to pull it up on simon)
