CCBC Essex, Nursing Fall 2017

Published

Hello Friends,

I am sure that many of you might have already applied for the nursing program at CCBC. I just submitted my application for ATB nursing day program for fall 2017 at CCBC Essex. I wish you all the good luck for acceptance into the program. If you are applying at CCBC and wants to stay connected, please comment below. I hope we all get accepted into the program.

anyone know if we'll be using the same books as the 2016-2017 school year? I'd like to get a headstart on buying books... at least for 153. Spring 2017 semester is using Fundamentals of Nursing 9th Edition, but we all know how they constantly upgrade the edition

That would be nice if they are because I know a handful of people I could buy books from, I'm sure they'll go over it at orientation!! Also orientation is from 9am-4pm, it seems pretty long

Hey, they are going to tell u that you need the latest addition of each book, but don't pay attention to that lol. The only book I would keep up with is the drug guide.

Friends, I want to thank you all for posting comments and sharing your thoughts. It has been very helpful during this past 7 weeks to get relief from the stress. Congratulations to everyone who have been accepted in the program. And my best wishes to other friends

who were not selected for this semester. Please do not give up!! I know it is frustrating because I was denied for the spring semester last year. Good luck everyone

Yes! Everyone good luck and hopefully we will all get to meet down the road in our nursing careers í ½í¸Š

Yes everyone please do not give up, I was not accepted for the fall 2017 semester and t was very frustrating but i kept my head up and kept trying good luck everyone.

@nyrse2b what was your overall gpa and science gpa when you applied for fall???

Does anyone know what the realistic chances are for getting off the waitlist? Its hard to plan for the future when they won't tell you how far along on the list you are or how many people are waitlisted in general.

have you called and asked?

Yes they won't tell me anything.

I was just wondering if anyone knew people that eventually got off or how soon they heard

I know how you feel. I was on the waitlist for Spring 17. They wouldn't give me any information about where on the list I was or how many people were on the list. They didn't even let me know that I was not accepted until 6 days before the program started in the Spring. It was very stressful, especially because it only gave me a week to reapply and look for other programs to apply to. Honestly, I wish I would've had back-ups already in line so I wouldn't have been so stressed out about it. Our deadline to pay our seat fee is in about a month, so if anyone who was offered a seat does not accept it Im sure they will start pulling people off the waitlist then...and then they look at the waitlist at the end of the semester because some people don't pass their classes.

Yes they won't tell me anything.

Good luck!!:D I applied to their LPN Fall 2017 program and am anxiously waiting to see if I got in.
