CCBC Dunalk LPN Program

Hello everyone,

I am thinking about applying for the LPN program at CCBC Dundalk and transitioning to RN there after. Has anyone completed the program or know someone who has? Can anyone tell me how competitive the program is. I want to know the average GPA accepted into the program. Also, did you have a hard time finding a job as an LPN?

Hi,

A friend of mine went there maybe 4 years ago when the program was fairly new. The competition was stiff back then although I don't know the gpa average. She still says what a great program it was although not a nurturing environment...not that any nursing program is, lol. In this area you shouldn't have a problem getting a job in a LTC facility, doctor's offices, schools and psych also hire LPNs. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I have been waiting for days. I hope I hear from more.

I am currently a unit secretary at a hospital. As soon as I get my acceptance letter (I pray that I do!!!), I plan on getting a clerical position where they hire new LPN's. Maybe that would greater my chances of getting a job right away.
