I was told that CCBC-catonsville does not have a waiting list, but my girlfriend told me that she received her letter and it stated that she was placed on a waiting list. Is there anyone out there that was on the waiting list and got into the program for that current semester they applied, or did you have to wait a while before getting in? Also, Does the waiting list means you have a definate chance of getting in or not, Someone please explain!!
Thanks!!

Not sure if this is the same but a friend of mine was put on the waiting list at Dundalk and she ended up getting in a week before classes started. Good luck.

They do have a small waiting list. When I started ( Spring 06) our class was told that normally every starting class will have " 1 or 2" people who got in from the waiting list. It all depends on if any of the acceptances refuse their seats. Then it will go to the people at the top of the waiting list. It's better than an out and out rejection as in there IS hope.

I think the confusion is that some schools have waiting lists that carry from year to year. CCBC does not have that, but they do have a smaller one (as stated above) just in case someone drops out. I am grateful because the schools that have waiting lists that carry over can have 2-3 year waits. So, I have heard atleast :)...
Thank you
