Hi everyone,
I'm new on here so I hope I'm posting this right: I just submitted my nursing school application for CCBC's day nursing program in Catonsville and if I get accepted (fingers crossed!), I would start in January. Is anyone else applying for the same program? It would be nice to know some people before going in! :)
Hi I'm new on here and also freaking out. I applied for the same program in august. After waiting all this time for an answer I finally got an email today saying I'm on the waitlist. The news crushed me. I guess it's better than a decline but the email says I won't hear about a seat opening until January. My family is trying to encourage me but I can't help but feel sad if I don't get in. Being on waitlist is so confusing so I turned to the internet for answers and found this website. Glad I can vent to other eager nursing students. Anyone else make the waitlist???
Thank you!! And I agree, a lot of waitlisted people get in so don't give up hope! If you want another option, one of my friends is applying to Howard Community College because they offer a 14 month RN program so you'd still be getting it faster. Their application deadline is December, I think...
Hello Perkypatti,
I am in the same situation as yours, though in Essex campus. I am waitlisted with a GPA of 3.1 and 76% on TEAS V exam.I called SHP but they didn't give me straight answer on pulling students of the waitlist. They told me they don't know yet whether or not the waitlist will be used. I am so worried.

I haven't heard anything yet either, but I don't think Spring semester starts until February 1st so we'll have all of January to get ready too.
