CCAC Nursing Students- help!

U.S.A. Pennsylvania

Hi everyone! I'm new to allnurses so bear with me!

I'm looking to apply to CCAC's nursing program for the Fall 2015 start. Boyce campus is closest to my house and job, however I had no idea that the only option for Boyce during the fall is the Fast Track program. Oops!

Those who are in or have done the fast track program...I have heard it is very intense. I know I would not be able to work full time, but is part time possible? What is the scheduling like for fast track? The other campuses are at least 50 minutes from my house, but would it be worth it to do a day program if I absolutely needed to work at least 20-25 hours per week? All of my pre and co reqs are finished except for Microbiology, which I am taking this summer.

I'm willing to work hard, but feeling kind of anxious not knowing what to expect. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated! Maybe this could be an ongoing discussion for CCAC Fall 2015 hopefuls?

Hey I am currently in the fast track program, the first 2 semesters you are at school 3 days/week, well 2 class days & 1 clinical..the first 6 weeks of summer semester you will have 2 class/lab days & 2 clinical days so it gets pretty busy! I'm not sure about the rest of the program yet however there are many people that are managing to work full time, until summer starts then they may need to make some adjustments

I am so sorry, I can't believe I just saw this. Thank you so much for your response!
