Nurses Criminal

Published

Ok so I recently passed my RN program 2 months ago. I've applied for my license in Indiana and received this response via email.

"As a result of this record, the Agency requests that you please provide additional information including, but not limited to, a written statement in your own words describing the incident in detail, the outcome, court documents (includingchronological case summary (CCS)), dismissal orders, police reports, or sworn affidavits. Letters from attorneys are not accepted in lieu of your sworn response."

The conviction in question happened over 5 years and has been vacated and expunged by my self. So I am wondering if I should submit what they are asking for or only submit the court order to vacate and NOT go into details of incident?

This exact thing happened to me. When did you get your expungement? I was advised that if it occurred before 7/2019 then It only expunged the charged and not the arrest. I called ISP and got it corrected within a week.

I still have issues over a charge from Florida from when I was a teen. It was a battery charge that was Nolle Prossed because I was proven to be innocent yet Florida didn't automatically seal it like they are supposed to. I submitted my personal statement and order of nolle prossed to them 2 weeks ago but I haven’t heard back.

I have already accepted a position contingent on my license that is at stake. I’m super worried!
