Caught my first louse today!

He's in a medcup. Can't quite make it up the side. Poor dude. This was mom's "worst nightmare". Really? I have many nightmares involving my children, but headlice doesn't even make the top 10.

So the clock is ticking...

FEMA may need to be notified.

He needs a mate, she says.

Take a photo and post it!

Actually, I believe this falls into the hands on CDC - you know - ranking somewhere between Ebola and Zika

On my list of worst nightmares, it lands just below scratchy tights and above the sniffles. All 3 are annoying and non-life threatening, but hell hath no fury like a 6 y/o with scratchy tights!

You put that thing in a ziplock STAT!! Science the sh!! out of this!!

Can't from work. And I'm not taking him home!

I tried to calm her. Told her there was no health risk. She knows this. She is educated, has resources. Just in that bubble of people who go insane at the mention of headlice. I had a teachers aide tell me she would rather have both her arms broken that get lice :wideyed:

Grabbed the closest thing to me - clear med cup. He only moved around about 30 minutes and hasn't moved since. Either he isn't the hardy type, or I squeezed him a bit too much with my tweezers. :dead:

The louse is playing possum.

We get amusement from the funniest little things :roflmao: :cheeky:

I'm starting to love this forum. :roflmao:

I'd rather deal with headlice than bedbugs any day.

You can get rid of headlice. I've done it.
