Cath/EP lab under Medicine service

Hello all,

I work at a VA cath/ep lab. We are under medicine service, not nursing. As a result we are missing out on a lot of the things nursing is offering the nurses under Nursing Service. Just curious what the setup is like at other VA's (not limited to cath/ep lab).

I'd say you're also missing out on a lot of the BS arbitrary demands the dept of Nursing makes regardless of sub-specialty and circumstances. I'd also say take it and run. Whatever you're missing out on is way less valuable than the benefits you now enjoy.
